Ok. So we all saw the Snikers commercial. Two guys kiss while eating a snikers, and then get grossed out. The next clip on the new was of NFL players watching the commercial, laughing and saying this like "thats gross" or "that's not right.
Look, I don't give a shit really. I thought it was funny, at first I was like, People are not going to like this, but whatever it was funny.
So then Master food (the company that made the commercial) said it was only made to be funny, and that humor is supjective. Ok I get what they're saying, but it can't just be blown off so easily. That commercial was seen by millions and it is not right to portray one's lifestyle in a negative way for the sake of humor or advertising.
The KKK would find a commercial insulting the black communit, but most people would not find it funny. And let's be honest, now-a-days, a commercial like that would NEVER be made. People would be up in arms. |

| The Oscar's...Best Picture |

Ok. so I'm sitting here watching some Oscar coverage...yeah i know i'm a dork. but a story comes on about mainsream america and the films that target this demagraphic. and how these films are constantly over looked for the Best Picture win (ex. Saving private ryan lost to Shakespeare in Love).
Lets be honest for like 2 seconds...i don't care what middle america thinks about hollywood...if it were up to them The Passion of the Christ would have won for best picture (I would have hurled).\
So as expected the conversation turns to the front tunner "Brokeback Mountain" (seen it 4 times, higly recomend it...changed my life) and Bill Maher, came on and discussed the film. and he made a statement to the effect that it is unrealistic for to men to lead "straight Lives" except for once a year when the two lovers are reunited.
so my problem with this is that, how many men are out there doing the same thing except, most of these men do not find there true love in another man, they instead turn to prostitutes and seedy motels. Then in turn endangering thier totaly unaware wife/lover. It's ridiculous to say that "you are either gay or staright and that's it, no middle gorund". it's actually quite common for in the closet adult gay men to live this way.
Sorry for the rant.

Okay, so I was reading the New York Times(and yes I do read the newspaper), and there was this report on a statement made by the Catholic church regarding Gay priests. and the statement basicly said that any man gay opr straight can become a priest, but if the man is gay then he must refrain from his homosexual tendencies for three years before he can become a priest. And as a result the number of child molestions will decrease.
Does anyone else find this EXTREMLY annoying? The last time I checked the priests who molested these kids were STRAIGHT!! So what is this new rule gonna do...NOTHING!!! so in effect only the gay priests have to abstain from sex before the priesthood not the straight ones.

OK, so it's like quater to 11 on sunday night and it just hit me...there are only 7 months left of senior. since when am i supposed to be graduating!?!?!?!?! It all makes no sense to me.
But alas...i have still not submitted one application...not one! and thats not good seeing as how my first app(DREW!!) is due in a little over two weeks...and whats better than that? I still have NO *i repeat* NO essay written. I'm like freakin out. But i know it'll all work out.
Ok so...that is all and yeah so i'm gonna go study for my law test.

This day started out so well...i got up early, got my mom and me coffee and then...i got into a car accident. I ran over a fire hydrant, knocked it off its pedistal, and then ran into some random person's garden wall. It was so bad, but thank god, the cop didn't give me a ticket, no one is callin their insurance, and the car miht be able to be fixed. So in the end at this point all i need to spend money on is the $500 fire hydrant. So yes its expensive but it could be a lot worse. So sadly for the time being I a without car but its all good becasue it might be a while before i want to drive again.
In other news...i just started reading an amazing book(its been out for a while) The Virgin Suicides. It's soo good i highly recomend it. The school year is comin to an end(tear,tear) and then summer starts, I'm thinking about geting a crew cut. Monday is Memorial Day, so i'll most likely be going into the city to dance(hopefully the same will apply for sunday)
Well physics is coming to an end...i now must leave you.

Ok, so i've only been in class dir like 15-20 min and i'm already going out of my mind. So, lets review my morning, shall we. So I get up and get dressed by 6:30 to pick up gabs and liam to bring them to ambush some kid at his house before school...one problem...the kid knew they were outside. So the two of them i imagine are still standing outside his house. But while they need to shoot this kid I need to get back to school...i was 15 min late(thank god my teacher doesn't know the 15 min rule) So while im running from vets i run through a swarm of knats...i swallowed one and i'm pretty dure its still alive somehwere in my stomach. So i get to class and say i thought we had a sleep in and that my car wouldn't start...ha not true. So i got my liscence and so far in the past 2 days ive made 4 trips to the mall...and i love shopping im going again today. My life rocks. BTW: Both Mer and liz are no longer single!!!! Yay!! so im am now all alone the vast land of single! But im uber exited for them!! They deserve it!! Hey Wes give me a call!! LOL (a hot boy with a bod and good maners what more do i need) ok mer just gave me one of those ;/ looks, fine all i need now is to know what he is...NO ONE IN THIS GOD FORSAKEN SCHOOL KNOWS...but he's never had a girlfriend or hooked up with any one! a guy can dream right! But yeah this summer...i'll get a boyf hopefully...well you know

Ok so it took me nearly forever to figure out how to put an image on my LJ and now its finally there...YAY!! Sadly strike was yesterday and the show was amazing! Ok so i hate physics she gave us a quiz and when we got it back to finish/correct i had like all of it wrong it was soo funny.

ok, so hi everyonr...long time no post. So here it is in a nutshell. Went to Turks and Cacios Island it was AMAZING!!! summer auditions were awsome i have never gotten so many complimants but sadly and nervewrackingly the cast lists don't go up until next monday...i can't wait that long. SATS!!! they are on saturday and i don't want to take them...so there it is.

Wow its been a long time since i've updated.
West Side Story was AMAZING!!! I still can't believe its over! Its so weird not going to rehersal or something every night, god how i miss that. But As you like it starts in like a week so its not like i'll be away from the theater for long. And rumor has it that the show is going to have a 70s theme, can we say AWSOME!!
So in the past week i've gotten like 8 hours of sleep, so im just out it most of the time. Can't wait until the 4 day weekend, im am gonna sleep like no other. Yeah Sleep!!
Why so teachers feel the need to give so much work and act as though this is your only class? it boogles my mind how thye teach wellness and say get a good amount of sleep, but then give so much homework that you're up till like 2 in the morn'
History paper do today! Mine sucks i wrote last night and it took like 7 hours and its the worst.

Wow, the show is only two days away and we haven't had a full run, but in true New Player fashion we'll do fine.
Ali, James, Danny, Pat, and Lynette are all amazing and the show would not be as good without them. It is by far a show i am most proud to be a part of. So if you want to see it and don't have tickets just come to the theater and see if there are extra tickets(people might not show up to a performance and they re-sell the extra tickets) Thur, fri, sat @8pm and sun @ 2 pm
So wes just was talking to mer and i about the show and i think i almost died...lol.
I am soo torn right now its not even funny. 3 people and i have no idea what to do, o well.

Ok,
First off let me apologize (i will again in person) but, I am sorry for anything i said at the meting yesterday. I was just making a joke and being sarcastic but it came off angry. I was not angry with anyone, i love you all, i don't hate any of you. you guys are the best, and you all rock.
Next: So about the trans gendered thing. I was just playing the devil's advocate. Maria and i have spoken about it, and she was SO super upset at her mother so i just felt like getting deeper into it and i thought that was the best way. But it got kinda out of hand. So I belive in EVERYTHING that wonderful umbrella has under it.
To the members: I am trying to improve as a leader and just know, that you can always approach me and tell my anything. My ears and heart is always open for all of you.

Wow!! Let me just say, vodka shots, and the hot tub it was amazing, i love all of you so much, you make my life. Sorry to say but break is now over, and we are back to school!
And maybe just maybe we'll have our first _______(never say the word out loud) day of the year!! (you know that thing when white stuff falls from the sky yeah that kind of day...DON'T SAY IT OUT LOUD!!!!!)
